The AAR Codes listing has railroad car AAR Codes, which can be allocated to \cars in the Cars list. These codes are US-specific, but can be also be used for cars operating on railroads outside the US. For example, A Box Car (XM) is a fairly standard car type common to all railroads worldwide. Even though a non_US railroad may have a different designation for it's “general box car type freight cars”, the US AAR Code can be used in the MRICF to indicate it's car type.
